The Fire of April 9th 1970

Sadly, there is not much information available about the April fire. Nor any photos as of yet.

It was reported to have broken out around 3:14 am and was spotted by a 'passer by'.  Four structures, which included Prop and Drapery Storage, were consumed by the flames and was estimated to be about $70.000 worth of damage. 
 

There is some discrepancy as to how many Fire Units were dispatched to the Ranch to battle the blaze. One paper reported 4 another reported 6 Units. It is also unclear at the moment where exactly the fire took place. All that is know is that two of the buildings were separated by a 30 foot wide path. When the Fire Departments arrived however the blaze was under control in about 30 minutes at 3:45 am.
